Not much to report, it is still beyond cold here but I refuse to give up wearing dresses. This is as simple as you can get. Just jazzed up the tights a bit, oh and I may add a belt, the rest is pretty simple.

Summer to Winter

I have really been missing summer lately, so I thought why not wear one of my summer outfits that I loved and just tweak it for the winter. So this is what I chose. I just added some tights and a blazer and I am ready for the arctic cold we have been experiencing. The only thing I can't recreate is my tan!

Grey on Grey

Happy Friday! I know I say this every Friday but it has been a busy week and I am so happy it is almost the week-end. It is still freezing but I am ok as long as the snow stays away. We still have tons of frozen mounds of snow everywhere and I still feel as though I am off roading when I try to get into my driveway, but on a positive note, next week it will be the end of January!!

Shrug

I cannot believe my lack of posts lately, but honestly life has been really busy lately. Plus this weather is really driving me crazy. We are under a cold weather alert again, it is dark most of the time so I feel like my photo quality is so bad. Anyway, had a nice relaxing week-end watching movies and trying to clean my house. Trying being the key word. This shrug is old and I can't remember where I bought it but I do love it.

Bird and Pearls

Something about adding pearls to an outfit, just makes it a little bit classier. I have been so lucky at Target lately, after Christmas they had a huge sale and I picked up so many cute things. This sweater was one of them. I already wore it twice, the other time with a chambray shirt underneath.

Sweater Dress

There is nothing better than a sweater dress. What could be better than essentially wearing a really long sweater? This one is super warm and a perfect way to be work appropriate but still comfy. I added my own tank underneath as otherwise it was way too low.

Taupe Blazer

Happy Monday.  Not much to say today, it is going to be a super busy week for me so I am looking forward to Friday already! I fell in love with this blazer as soon as I saw it, the colour is amazing and will go with so much. Paired it with black pants, a cream blouse and a leopard belt.

Wolf of Wall Street

I had a great time last night. We saw "Wolf of Wall Street" which unfortunately was not as good as I was hoping, Leonardo Dicarprio was amazing, that guy sure knows how to act. Oh and it is super long, almost 3 hours. We went to a duelling piano bar afterwards which was a lot of fun.

Looking forward to the week-end, the temperature is going to actually make it beyond zero and we are finally going to see the movie "Wolf of Wall Street"I have been dying to see this movie so I hope it is as good as it looks. My search for brown boots with a heel finally came to an end on New Year's Day when I found this new pair, I have been looking for ages!

Leopard & Fleece

Sorry about the quality of pictures lately, this is what happens when it is dark when I leave and dark when I come home. Yesterday morning driving to work was tricky, my steering wheel felt like a block of ice and even with my gloves on stuck in the heating vents I was still freezing. With the wind chills it was -37 degrees,  I have had it with this winter. I know I keep complaining but just when I think it can't possibly get colder, it does. Enough of winter talk,  I bought this skirt a while ago and despite the temps I really wanted to wear it, since I couldn't wear my long johns, I opted for these fleece lined tights (greatest invention ever, other than long johns of course).

Long Johns

I cannot believe we have another snow storm going on. I mean this has to be the worst winter we have had in a very long time. I just keep adding layers hoping that I will be warm enough. My secret to survive winter........ long johns, I wear them all the time, they are underneath these pants right now, it is the only way I can get through winter.

Resolutions

I am not one to make resolutions but when I saw this I thought hmmmmm yeah I could definitely try this! I love the feeling of a brand new year, a chance to start fresh, what better way to start then by following some of these.......(except the junk food, sorry, can't give that up!)

Blue = Ice

Wearing lots of blue today, thought it appropriate as blue reminds me of water and water when freezing turns to ice and since it feels like -35 degrees here this morning, everywhere I look is snow and ice....make sense? Probably not. I am however, very happy it is Friday. Hope you all have a wonderful week-end planned and are warm and cozy where ever you are.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!! I am a day late on this, but wanted to show a few of my favourite outfits from 2013. It was hard to narrow down but I felt great in these outfits and clothes are really all about what makes you feel your best. Thanks to those who read my blog, still pretty shocked anyone does.
