Lost in the Closet

I have had this skirt for 2 years and have never worn it. I do really like it, I like the design, it is comfortable and quite warm so not really sure why it has been neglected for 2 years. I think like a few other items, it has just gotten lost in my closet. My goal now is to start pulling out these items and making  sure they get their fair share of time out of the closet.

  1. That is a really cute skirt! I'll share a little closet secret of mine with you...In January and June, I turn my hangers around so that I can keep track of the pieces of clothing that I am wearing. Once I wear an item, I turn the hanger back around like it should be. This practice keeps me from wearing the same clothing over and over again because I try to wear everything at least once before I start re-wearing items. I do this twice a year as some clothing items will only be worn in the winter or the summer, and not year round. I will warn you that it is a little time consuming to turn around all of those hangers, but it has really helped me expand my closet.

This skirt that you are wearing is really versatile as well. You can really play around with color, either wearing a colored shirt, or a colored belt and accessories. Good luck coming up with more ways to style it!
