Dryer Mishap

I would say that 99.9% of the time I do my own laundry. Every piece of clothing seems to have it's own manual. Some need to be washed in cold water, some hand washed, some go in the dryer for the full amount of time, some go in only for a few minutes so I can avoid ironing and some never go in the dryer at all. Knowing the way to handle each piece of clothing is almost an art form, so for this reason I don't trust anyone (my husband) to do my laundry. The one and probably only time my husband (trying to be very helpful) decided to throw all my laundry into the dryer it included this blouse. Silk blouse.....it shrunk, luckily I can still wear it. It just barely tucks into my pants but miraculously only shrunk in length.

  1. You honestly can't even tell! That's the worst though, I've accidentally shrunk silk blouses too and it's so frustrating!
    Isn’t That Charming.

  3. I was so afraid that this was going to happen in my household! We have two laundry baskets, and the man is only "allowed" to do the laundry in one of them. And if there is laundry that needs to be switched over, he doesn't touch it unless it is sheets or towels (or he has permission, lol). I know most women want the men to help out around the house, but laundry just isn't one of those chores that I want a man to handle!

However, I can't tell that your blouse shrunk. I like your blouse, I am a sucker for pink clothing!
