Your vs. You're

My mom (who is the biggest fan of my blog) called me last night to let me know as kindly as she could that I am using the words YOUR and YOU'RE incorrectly in my blog. My mom who is a freelance writer and amazing at it, is still trying to help her adult daughter with her spelling and grammatical errors. As wonderful as my mom is at writing, I am not. So please accept my sincere apology for any past or (most likely) future inaccuracies in either my grammar or spelling.

On another note - I picked up this dress in the summer for $12.99! Best part, adding my fleece lined tights and it is good for the winter. Now this is something I know my Mom would approve.

    I get what you mean...I write a lot for a living and just when I think I've mastered all grammatical rules, a boss or colleague points out a blaring error on my end. Ha!

    I think your readers will forgive the your vs. you're mistake. I have trouble with the usage of affect vs effect... ALWAYS. Doesn't matter how many times I read up on it. ;)
